The Lambeth Lions will continue to work within the community in 2023 to serve those who need help. During our last fiscal year, we returned over $20,000 back to the public. To maintain this level of support, the Lions have several projects that they plan on holding. In addition to our annual Memory Box fundraiser, our yard sale and the two food drives that we hold every year, two new events are being planned for next year. In February we will be holding our Sweetheart event in which a package of flowers, chocolates and a heart shaped pizza will be offered for sale. A limited number will be available, so guys get your orders in as soon as they are offered up for sale. Details will be provided on this page, the Lambeth Lions Facebook page and the Lambeth Community Facebook page. Also being planned but will not be able to confirm until early January is a Mothers Day themed craft show. This should be a great opportunity to get that unique gift for that very special mother in your life.
Dorchester, St. Thomas and London East Lions joined the Lambeth Lions this morning to welcome almost 30 visually impaired campers from Windsor on Peter’s Bus on their journey to CNIB Lake Joseph camp. Our goal was to get them to the washroom, feed them, get them back on the bus in record time. Even the guide dogs were watered.
Thank you to all the Lions and partners who helped. Several of our blind friends commented that they are very aware of how our A-1 lions help them in so many ways but it is extra special to see us in person. We feel the same about them. Happy camping.
